TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

THIS AGREEMENT is entered into by and between Cleaned Lines (hereinafter “Scopist”), and [INSERT FIRST AND LAST NAME], (hereinafter “Court Reporter”) as of Sunday, September 20, 2015.

 

        WHEREAS, Court Reporter and Cleaned Lines hereby enter into a contract and agreement, whereby Cleaned Lines will provide scoping or proofreading services for the Court Reporter.   

 

        NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged,

 

[INSERT FIRST AND LAST NAME] and Cleaned Lines do hereby contract, covenant and agree as follows in connection herewith:

 

• Cleaned Lines will provide scoping or proofreading services as requested by the Court Reporter.    For said services rendered, the Court Reporter agrees to the rates charged and delivery terms in accordance with EXHIBIT “A” attached hereto

• The Court Reporter agrees that payment in full is due to Cleaned Lines upon receipt of invoice.

• If payment cannot be made within upon receipt of invoice, the Court Reporter hereby agrees to immediately notify Cleaned Lines to discuss payment options.

• In the event of default by the Court Reporter under this Agreement, the Court Reporter agrees to reimburse Cleaned Lines for any and all expenses incurred in connection with the default, including, without limitation, court costs and attorney’s fees.

• This Agreement shall be governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey.

• This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties pertaining to its subject

 

matter,  and it supersedes all prior contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings of the parties.  No supplements, modification or amendment of this Agreement shall be binding unless executed in writhing by all parties.

There will be an additional charge when the scopist must work on a weekend or holiday in order to meet a deadline.

 

 

 

ADDITIONAL COSTS

 

Please expect an increase of 10% per page rate for dropped text and/or excessive corrections.
